Meet Eric

Eric Runberg grew up in Scottsdale and graduated with Honors from Northern Arizona University, earning his bachelor’s degree in accountancy with a 4.0 GPA. Named Outstanding Senior by the College of Business, he joined the Phoenix office of KPMG, a “Big 4” accounting firm. Eric spent over 20 years advising some of Arizona’s largest public companies, both as a KPMG assurance manager and as the leader of in-house audit and consulting teams, before deciding to bring the power of his Fortune 500 experience to families and small businesses.

Eric has been a licensed CPA since 2007 and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He is an Eagle Scout and continues to volunteer with Scouting, serving as the Treasurer of his Troop, as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Arizona Scouting Museum, and with Scouting Arizona – Grand Canyon Council, where he is the incoming Treasurer of its Executive Committee.

Outside of work, Eric has been happily married to his wife Jessica for over 20 years. He enjoys hiking and camping with family and friends, as well as embarrassing his daughter by cheering too loudly at her track and cross-country meets.
